Raypak is excited to announce our expansion into the IoT space with our new product AVIA™. This product has a built-in Wi-Fi enabled control system, which is a first in our industry.

Imagine every pool you or your company managed could tell you when there was an issue. Not enough flow to the heater could mean the skimmers or filters need to be cleaned, or that the pump was starting to fail or needed the RPMs to be turned up. Whatever the reason was, you would know there was a potential issue, and you could plan for the solution before you stepped foot on location.
Now take that one instance and multiply it across all the pools you manage. Your entire day, or even week could be planned out in advance. Pools that need immediate service would be prioritized, routes could be pre-planned and divided across multiple employees. The pools that are operating smoothly could be moved down the list of importance and you can stay on top of customer satisfaction. In most cases you’ll eliminate any issues before they escalate.

What else can it do?
The new built-in Wi-Fi enabled control system does a few interesting things. It can be set up with automation to control the heater’s heating schedule and desired temperature set point. It can also be connected with an on/off feature, such as a pump, actuator, or lights. This additional feature can also be automated through the control. In addition, the control has the ability to learn more about the pool, how long it takes to heat up and will use that data when running through scheduled automations. Lastly, this control can be accessed on the go from our proprietary mobile application, Raymote™.
You can also control your AVIA settings from across the street — or across town — right from your phone. Whether adjusting the pool temperature or checking on other pool functions, it’s all possible through your Raymote remote Wi-Fi connection.
